There are numerous ways to get rid of unwanted weeds. When you are gardening, than you almost certainly want to do it the traditional way and pull them out. When you've got a fenceline or just would like to keep your lawn looking attractive than you can use a herbicide.

There are numerous ways to get rid of unwanted weeds. When you are gardening, than you almost certainly want to do it the traditional way and pull them out. When you've got a fenceline or just would like to keep your lawn looking attractive than you can use a herbicide.
To Remove all Plants
To destroy any weed including grass than there is a fairly cheap solution in the marketplace, there are lots of companies that have comparable products but they all have the same active ingredient. An active ingredient is foundation of the chemical which allows it to do what it does best. Kinda like having flour in bread, you'll need it to bake properly. The most well-known product out there is Round-up, manufactured by the company that designed the active ingredient that everyone is using now for their products. This compound works by the plants taking in the chemical through the leaf and transporting the chemical throughout the plant. It pretty much latches on to the water molecules to do this, the chemical than cuts off the water movement in the plant, destroying it by the root.
Chemical For Your Grass
For taking the weeds out of your property than you should use a broad leaf herbicide. These kinds of chemicals only target leafy vegetation and don't kill grassy plants. So your lawn will be fine. There are many broad leaf chemicals in the marketplace and they have got many different names. At times the very same chemical has different names based upon which country you live in. They are relatively cheap as well, suggested retail price on most them are around $11 per acre. You can call at your neighborhood department shop, however if you want the really good products I would recommend an farming crop inputs supply store. Those folk are highly qualified with chemicals that remove weeds because that's all they sell for a number of months of the year. But 2 active ingredients that do well are florasulam or clopyralid. For those of you that have a problem with dandelions get something with Clopyralid in it, it completely smokes them.
In closing
So if you need to kill any undesired plants including grass, use a glyphosate product and be certain to read the label accurately before applying, if you want to kill everything but grass there are a lot more options available but your agriculture retail would understand best.
